One day in Maranello

Hi all guys of Ferrari Life!
How are you guys?
I tell you about sunday 10 march when I and my wife went in Maranello to shop some things at the Ferrari Store and for visit at Ferrari Museum where is exposed "La Ferrari".
It was the second time for me but every time is like a first ... My wife told me "you are like a young boy on a toy shop..."
When an enthusiast cars man arrives in Maranello feel air different you breathe smell of petrol ...ahhhhhhhhhhhh you will go on sky !!!
Turning the streets of Maranello you meet different Ferrari cars some masked prototype some cars on test and some private cars near at Ferrari Museum there is a Pit-Lane company that have some Ferrar for rental test drive in Maranello. Everybody have possibility by this company to drive a Ferrari I think 60 euros per 20 min but I'm not sure.
The only discordant note in the museum was "La Ferrari" because I will hope it was real car, instead was a body with wheels ... without brake and i think without engine.
In every case the body was real and with magnificent design ....

After museum visit we went to eat in Rubiera (near maranello) from Gastronomic clinic, if any of you will be in maranello in the future must go!
Hotel ristorante Rubiera: la tradizione della Clinica Gastronomica Arnaldo
The day was a beautiful day, I immersed myself in the world that I like better .... the cars world ...

I attach some my photos of ferrari museum I live at 1.5 drive hours from Maranello but most of FL guys live very far from that place and I hope that my pictures serve you make are a little closer to maranello .... If some of you want photo in bigger size can send email.

Enjoy to drive at all... as long as we allow it ..... I hope for ever .....

Sounds like you had a great visit Fabio.

Brings back good memories of visits there. I've been lucky enough to make to Maranello a few times in the last years. Each time as good as the last.

Thanks for sharing your experience.

I dunno Jimmy. 'one day in Tokyo' certainly sounds appealing to me. I'd trade it for one day in Dublin no problem...

Fabio- Sounds like a great day. Last time I was there was 1983, and things have changed a bit since then.

Great pictures, Fabio, thanks! This summer I will visit Maranello for sure - thanks for the recommendation in Rubiera, I think I will stay for the night then.
ps. I am disappointed by the front look of the La Ferrari...it looks too much like a Viper. The rear is fantastic though.

Hy Chris,

For me today ferrari company with "La Ferrari" in on the top of cars world, personally I like her look in every side, for sure is better "La Ferrari" today in respect the Enzo on 2002.
In my hearth remain the F50, the V12 with 5 valves developed directly from F1 engine in those years (Mansell - Prost - Bergher ..... ) is a milestone .....
That cars for me are only a dream, in every case I'm very enjoy of my 575 and I thank all owners of those supercar, that with their threads make us partakers of their emotions driving those dreams ....

Chris how many week remain ? ah ah ah
