456 GT Sick

Hi Guys

Need a little help
My 95 456 Gt developed a noisy left bank, can hear the cams etc and the oil leaks from a line somewhere under the right side head lights, its alomst fills the lower guard area so at some stage its coming out a lot, now i would expect to see it coming out but on the few times i have run it nothing comes out to show where the leak is. and seeing there is little to no oil going to the left bank i wont run it.
the oil gauge on the dash shows good pressure so i can only assume there is a blockage somewhere that's preventing it getting through to the left side.
I did a oil and filter change and still no difference,
I have the online workshop manual and it does not show all the oil lines
any advice guys ??
thanks
Ted

that sounds suspiciously near the actual Oil cooler: Can you look in side that area. Know it's not easy, but out the head light area sounds weird. Only oil stuff near the left, is the oil filler and the cooler that I readily see.

Does not sound like the cam seals or head gasket area.

agree you should not run until solved.

oil leaking

ok it has been some time since i started looking into this and i think i have a good theory,
What i know. .... there is oil pooling in the bottom plastic shield and dripping out on the right hand side,

I found the oil was coming via the bottom of the oil filler tank via the O ring, so i put a new one in and sealed it up, with the oil cap off i turned it over for a sec and found the oil was now coming up and out the filler point, then running down, so this would make me think the scavenging pump is sending oil to the cooler then tank and getting blocked by the oil lubrication pump, if that pump does not take the oil and pass it through the engine it will have to come out somewhere,, ie the filler point.
i have checked the hose going from the bottom of the oil tank to the bottom of the engine and no blockages there, next step is to take off the oil pumps cover and check the pumps out .. has anyone done this yet? what should i look out for?
and should i need a new pump who or where is the best place to get it ?
thanks very much guys
Cheers
Ted
