Possible 575 F1 Clutch Replacement

When shifting gears under relatively hard acceleration the transmission shifts into neutral. This generally occurs if the rpm's are above 5-6,000. It does not happen 100% of the time but it is happening all to frequent for my liking. I'm assuming it is time for a new clutch but wanted thoughts from other owners on this issue. I'm not certain that a simple clutch adjustment is a possible fix. Car has approx. 34,000 miles and I believe this is the original clutch. Had the car serviced a couple weeks ago and I believe they told me the clutch had approx 55% wear on it.

Thoughts please?

Rick- Take it to your tech and have him check clutch wear with a borescope through one of the inspection ports in the clutch housing. A pin on the throw-out bearing runs in a slot that is easy to see. If the pin is fully seated in the slot, time very soon for a new clutch.

Mine was checked at ~20,000 miles and had 13 mm of play remaining. If there is still travel remaining on your clutch, have them reset PIS and possibly replace the F1 fluid and bleed the system with an SD2.
