Hi Terry just wanted to run some things by you.
-Is Formula Dynamics ok as OEM brake replacement? Or should I stick with Pagid, Ferodo, Brembo pads?-Can I use 550 rear pads on the 456M rear? Are brake pads calliper dependant?-Should I stick with solid/flat Brembo disk rotors or get drilled replacements? -If I do want a second set of good race pads is EBC Yellow stuff 100% Aramid OK? -Should I refurbish my Bilstein's, they leak regardless of service or replacement every 3-5 years, nowhere in the world wants to touch them besides Delta Vee. I have spoke with Bilstein AUS = never seen self adjustable shocks ever. Bilstein CA claim that Germany must make new rods? Bilstein Germany do not reply to my emails. Can I throw on some regular shocks bypass the self levelling nightmare. Koni, Ohlins, Bilstein bolt on options? Sorry to bother you however you have the final say when it comes to Ferrari. Thanks in advance. Hope you are well and making the most of the rainless days. Your Pal Vern.

OM shows just less than 3 gallons (2.9) of coolant, but I doubt you can get than much in there. So about 5-6 qts of G-05 and the rest distilled water.

Now you know why we call that center resonator "the cork". She sounds great and looks great, which is the combination we all want.

    Bonjour my friend,
It has been some time. I am writing to you to thank you for your advice re, central resonator removal to straight pipes. I had Porsche (Brighton) perform the service for $400 AUS same day service. When I picked it up I did not think it was my car, I was astounded what 2 pipes could do to the sound. My brother said it sounded like a 430 on the highway. Thank you so very much for educating me re: central mufflers & ultimately for saving me $4-6K on a Capristo, Larini or X-Ost exhaust. I will savour this mod for a while & pretend that I have been upgraded to a 550. I cannot thank you enough for helping me on a multitude of topics re my Ferrari. I have attached a link, http://youtu.be/aQCVJ5Q0aWQ apologies for the inane commentary I was rather excited. Will keep you posted. BTW I also was able to display my 456 at the F1 GP in Melbourne over the 4 days will post pics on this site. Thanks again, you rule.

Dan- Absolutely, especially since I keep no owner information at all. What I need is the serial number (last 6 of VIN), country of origin (or VIN, which shows that), assembly number in front of the engine, type of shifter (F1 or manual), and whether she has FHP or HGTC. He can e-mail me that info and, nice but not required, a photo of the exteriors and of the interiors. [email protected]
