Mark- Unfortunately that is too down in the weeds for me on the clutch. You do have to have an SD2 to reset PIS and zero out some of the wear data. If you give me your e-mail address, I will look in the 575M WSM and see what it says about assembly.

Also, do I need to reset the PIS sys. before driving it? or can we have the Ferrari dealer reset that after we finish the work?

Sorry for so many questions! And I greatly appreciate any ifo you have. Thank you so much!!! Mark

    MARK 575

Hi may name is Mark and I am new here. I know I may be asking alot here, but it sounds as if you are very knowledgeable on the 575's and I was wondering if you could possibly help me out. My best friend owns a 575 Maranello w/ the F1 gearbox. I own a shop in Boulder CO. We specialize in German cars but Jess (my buddy who owns the Ferrari) wanted me to do the clutch in the 575. Long story short- Dave @ Scuderia Rompante said he would help me with the set-up and adjustment necessary after replacing the clutch, but is no longer interested in helping. I have the clutch out of the car and just need the info on what adjustments are necessary before re-assembly. Can you possibly help me? It looks to me that the input shaft is threaded with jam nuts and that would be where you set your end-play when replacing the clutch. Is this correct? Do you know the specs here? Are there any other adjustments necessary before re-assembly? -I will send the rest in next message...

hi, i've read few of your posts and you said that it's possible to transform a 360 key (with fob) to a f430 key.
Could you please post a link to that post ?

    Thanks in advance

Is the offer to get a copy of the 575 workshop manual still standing? If so would greatly appreciated it.....

Only disadvantage is cost. Other than that, they have been great. When first installed, it takes a little more pressure to generate braking force, but does not take long and the pressure required is back to normal. Feels like you have a bottomless pit of braking. So far only fronts installed, rears are prototype installation and still being developed.
