Hi StefVan,

I have a question for you in regards to the Spring Rates for F430. It seems like there are two conflicting tables found on the internet.

One is done by you, and the other is found on the internet. Can you please confirm which is the correct one ?

The left table with the spring rates circled in yellow or the right table with the spring rates circled in red ?

Since you are Pooya's friend and I can't get him to contact me I though I could contact you because you were on his friend's list. Anyways, my F430's reverse button cover came off so I need to replace it but it's too expensive to replace. Good evening. I have found your posts to be immensely helpful and informative.
I have been trying to cure a rattly exhaust resonance on my F430. Tailpipes have been changed yet a 3000/4000 RPM rasp persists.
I have purchased the Capristo brackets and I would like for my own benefit as much as anything to find out if the original silencer is giving rise to this noise or not. If fitting these brackets makes no difference and I still hear the noise I will fit the Capristo twin sound silencer as well.
My question relates to fitting the brackets as I am sure I remember a post saying that the large washers supplied should be fitted as spacers between the face of the bracket and the cross member.....not as all the photos I have seen where they are fitted as a conventional washer behind the head of the bolt. The Capristo website is not at all clear in this respect. I would be pleased to hear your opinion here as to the way round to fit these washers.

Sorry to bother you sir, but I have been following all your posts regarding the 360 you sir are a very big help to me. Just a bit of intro I am all the way accross the globe here in the Philippines.
I have been working on a 01 360 f1 the TCU is the oldest version w the 172 part no at the beginning. Changed;
1. Clutch kit
3. Hill eng tob
4. Pos sensor
5. pump & relay
7. Resurfaced the flywheel. just .003 material
My TEXA rig just arrived so i checked the PIS and it stands around 4.7
I feel that there is quite a bit of improvement still to come in 1st gear. If I can maybe put the PIS around 4.2-4.5.
My question is how do i manipulate the clutch thickness to adjust PIS using TEXA?Is this correct sir? So since my clutch is new, the closed clutch position is 15mm. When I manipulate this it is my understanding that I should lower it 15mm below going down. Or should I add to the 15mm. This is the part I get confused

Hello StefVan, I just bought a 2006 F430 Spider six speed manual. I want to convert from the steel brake system to the CCM system. I saw a post where you did it. I did some research and a company in Florida, USA sells Ferrari oem parts that just replace the current rotors and brake pads. No lines, calipers or anything else other than tell the car that the brakes are now CCM. Any advice would be helpful. Thank you. Mark
