    Hi there,
Just read your post in rebuilding a 599 gearbox, I had an oil leak were the selector plate is on the gearbox for the f1 paddle shift control on the gearbox.
    Just wondering for some assistance,
We have Ferrari 599 GTB Fiorano (mechanical) F1 gearbox shift control selector & for selector fork set up.
    Eg: Ferrari part number 222832
Could you please help me with some knowledge in finding out the correct gear selector set up & shift placement when installing the selector shifter on the left hand side of the gearbox which is missing as showmen from your photo,
Eg: do the shift linkages have a particular position set up they have to be in, keep getting on the dash either invalid gear or it only gets one gear now, I have tried a few different times but need some help please,
    Thank you

I have done dyno testing and found NO performance gain. The factory filters are excellent. The filter seal has bonded to the two housings, you just have to give them a good tug.

Any thoughts about K&N air filters? are they worth the upgrade? Also my 550's air filter covers seem to be welded in place (Not really, removed the four bolts and they still won't budge) I disconnected the intake by releasing the two clips. Is there a trick or something I am missing?
