Welcome FBI

Hi Everyone, Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dino and I live in western Canada. Been reading a lot of great threads and gathering as much info as I can. I just started seriously looking for a 348SS, and hope to get some helpful advice from you all when the time comes to pull the trigger.
Cheers!

Thanks for the welcome guys! And yes I am Italian FBI=Full Blooded Italian.
My choice for the 348SS is just that I feel it's a great first Ferrari and why not get the best example of the series. Something about those kevlar seats that just make it for me. Also I have been wanting it since I was a kid, And I am finally in a position to experience the dream! Wish me Luck!
Cheers!!

Ciao paisano!! I was born here, however my sister was born in Italy, and my brother almost on the boat over here! My parents immigrated here in the 60's We hail from southern Italy a region called Calabria, across from Sicily. How about yourself? I have read alot of your post's and I must say what a beauty you have! I think we have some common interest's as I have owned and worked in club's in the past. But that's another story!

I will have Q's for you all when I pull the trigger on the 348, but I will use the search first.. I know everyone hates the same Q's being asked over and over.

Lot of smart and knowledgeable people around here. And I will assure you I will make good of that.

Ciao!

Thanks Boxer. I will make a strong effort to get in contact with them as soon as I find the one I am looking for.

As for Angelis. My god if I can do a quarter of what he's doing to his Ferrari I would be a very happy man! Enjoy reading about all the work he's doing. I mean talk about passion, this guy has got it and my hat goes off to him. And many others like him! Hopefully soon I will get there.

Ciao!

Ciao Granucci, There's two I am inquiring about right now. They have been for sale for a long time now. Here's the links. I am sure you have all seen them. Still I think priced to high for the market we are in right now.

http://www.autotrader.com/ATCarID/AT-F09F28E
This one the salesman with the records is on vacation and I have to wait till he gets back before I can see them.! You think the manager would keep the records with him.

This one, really nice guy talked to the owner and has faxed some info to me
Very nice but prefer the Tan Kevlar seats and TS version.

Anyone else know anything please pass it along to me.

Ciao

Ps: Hairgel ehh!! LOL

I cannot find any previous owners of those two, not in the registry.

However, I agree on the Red/Tan w. TS which would be my choice. Both look in great condition and similar years.

The first is a newer '93 too which has more updates I'm sure and less miles, fine to make a fine example.

Didn't see the price on the 2nd...have a quote on that?

Helloooooooo Boys, I'm Back! After months of searching I finally pulled the trigger on a 348 SS #63. This week has been a dream come for me and finally an end to searching and the start of having some fun.

She came from a very caring owner and a load of records! Full service complete as of Aug 08. She came to me with fluids changed and an awesome detail job!

Took it out on Saturday for the first time and all I can say is.. it was worth the wait.

Here's to a load of new memories and new friends!!!!
Cheers!
