New Guy from Michigan

Hey everyone, I'm 23 and have my first e-buisiness that I will be running here within 3 weeks. I'm here to keep my dream of the 360 Spider alive (F430 or Modena) I will likely only be making 3-5 grand a month to start, but it is very possible if i market correctly and essentially run my buisiness like a professional i could make 100k a year. Even then, thats not really enough for a ferrari... but a very successfull millionare friend has taken it upon himself to be my mentor.

I have many more charitable things I would rather do with my money, but the dream must live on. In time my friends! I will be one of you with the finest crafted piece of machinery ever.

V6 and I aint walkin...

Welcome! I'm also from Michigan. This is a great forum, and definitely keep the dream alive of the Ferrari! 100,000 a year is plenty if picked carefully to own a Ferrari.

Welcome to the site!
Your first investment should be a house. Basic requirements of life are food, water and shelter. Good food, nice beverages and a nice place to hang my hat are the most important things to me. Ferrari's are toys, not a requirement. I'd rather have a 308 parked in the garage of a million dollar house then a 430 parked in the dirt driveway of a mobile home. At your projected salary you should be able to drop into the Ferrari market with a 308 or 328 or TR within a few years and as your income grows you can move up to the 360 or 430.

Unfortunatley, I think the 100k is the high expectation for this e-commerce business im going to be running, doable, but i think it bottoms out there. I will probably move on to something else. I'm interested in enough things that I think I will be able to start something else up with some of the money I make. Im not a greedy man by any means, but 100k isnt alot these days. House median prices are pretty high, depending on where you live. I live in michigan, but my ideal place is far away from here.

Im only 23 though, and as long as I keep it strong I have alot of time.

Thanks for all the welcomes

Welcome, good luck with your business.
Take Pete's advice about Ferrari ownership, he's absolutely right.

Pete - I agree with you on everything but the other cars...

Call me wierd - but, I'm not actually fond of most of the ferrari's looks. I pretty much like the 360 modena spider, and the successor spider. No offense to anyone here, ferraris are classy period, and its too bad the one im most fond of is the one that seems to be the most mass produced, but those are the ones i like!!!

edit - out of all those i think i like the TR the best. In fact I think it was the first ferrari I ever liked back when I was a kid
