Hi My name is ...

Just kidding. i thought about suggesting something like this but maybe instead of a sticky, you could make it an entire forum in the Community section. That way when this thread grows with more introductions people will still read the intros. I tend to not follow hugely long threads solely cause I get lost in their topics and catching up on pages of missed reading is daunting.

I'm going to be Mr. Unoriginal and use this thread, hah!

I've just turned 16, I live in Florida, and I have recently acquired a Ferrari obsession. (Though I believe it must have started with hotwheels at the age of 2 :P)

I've been reading all over about Ferraris, and I really love the look of a red 360 Spider with black interior, though I have no idea what I'm going to do in life to be able to afford one, I'm hoping I'll find something. Though by the time I can afford a Ferrari, I'll probably be able to go for the F430!

Vroom Vroom!

I just joined a few hours ago. I am lured to the appeal of Ferrari. But, I've only sat in one inside a car showroom years ago. I've yet to drive one. Getting a chance to drive one, though, would completely make my week. (I didn't say month, though, because, who knows!? Maybe after driving it for the first time, I'll end up getting it within 2 weeks! )

I currently own a vehicle that I just got last August. A used BMW 540i Sport. It's the first sedan I've had that is actually fun to drive. It replaced a Maxima. Don't get me wrong, though. A '99 Maxima SE is very fun to drive, but it isn't "I just burst out laughing after accelerating out of that intersection" fun.

Welcome to you Mr Ferruccio, enjoy yourself on the forum. I read some of your posts earlier, you seem to know about Lamborghinis, you aren't 'THE' Ferruccio...? only kidding

I live in LONDON in the UK most of the time but i do also live between FRANCE and the MIDDLE EAST. i'm on my second ferrari. the first is a 355 spider and the second is a 360 spider. i do own a few cars mostly mercedes cause mercedes is my favourite brand ever. mercedes builds the best cars in the world. dare i say that my favourite car of all time is a lamborghini countach 25 anniversary edition in black with cream interior ? i fell in love with lamborghini as a kid in the 80's when my dad had a countach qv in white with white leather. if i had to own only one car it would be a mercedes. i almost bought a gallardo before the 360 but my sensible mind talked me out of it, and the soft top in the ferrari drew me towards it. most probably i'm not such a diehard fan of ferrari like most of the people on this forum. but hey over time ferrari is growing on me, and i did buy a second one, that must mean something. maybe the ferrari bug has bitten me

Hi Andy, welcome, always good to see another member from the UK. Where are you in England?
Congrats on the need for a baby seat. I hope the new arrival shares your passion for ferrari.

I'm Dave from Yorkshire, England (old England, the proper one) and have just purchased my first Ferrari after about 10 years of talking myself out of it.

Decided to go for a relatively cheap moderately old one but by god is it nice!!!

It will pass anything except a petrol station.

Can't imagine how nice something brand new like a 430 or a Scag would be.

I think I'll go and polish it again!

She's a 348, badged as a GTS but although I'm not an expert yet, she's a 1990 and the GTS weren't available until 93 so I think it might be a TS with a dodgy badge. Looks better anyway. That G makes all the difference.
