Glad to be here

Hello, everyone.

Well never have owned a Ferrari before but have been looking for the perfect 430 spider and had to be blue.
Found one at the dealer and it would be a car like the Vette where we might do 1000 miles a year driving it on weekends.
Wife finally agreed but said want to set in it first, so we went to the dealer she sat in it and said sets to low like the 911t.
well, I'm talking to salesman she took off and 5 minutes later came back and said found the perfect one.
So ended up with a new one.
200 miles only but I love it!

Welcome to the forum Barry.
Congratulations on the new purchase, although I can't tell from your post exactly what you got.
A new Porsche??

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Congrats again.
I spent an afternoon driving one in and around Maranello.
They are lovely cars to cruise around in. Far more civilized than a 430 (if not as fun).

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Just got to say, all my life I have restored cars as a hobby mostly Vettes, GTO's and SL's and although I have not driven this car much it just plain amazes me how it's made and the quality of everything.

In this short time, I have owned it I have lost all interest in the newer Vettes and if Ferrari made an SUV the wife's Mercedes would turn into one right away.

All my prior Vettes were 50's and 60's the blue one is only new one ever had.

Wow, you were totally right about the blue, it does look amazing. I guess if I'm to swap cars any soon, I will definitely go for this color, pretty much eats any others alive. Cheers, and congrats on your purchase!

Congratulations on the beautiful car. Among passionate Ferrari folks, an SUV is heresy. Ferrari is coming out with an SUV and I am hoping it is a failure like the Maserati SUV.

There will be a yellow color code decal, probably in the trunk but nor sure on the Cali T, that tells the paint
color.
