Hello from the UK

Hi there,

My name's Dan. BIG Ferrari fan - yet to make my first purchase, but it's a lot closer than it used to be
Currently driving a Porsche 996 Carrera 4 (yes, the kettle with the dodgy engine!) - had it for a few years now. Use it as my daily driver - I'm lucky that I live in a part of the world that has stunning scenery and great roads - the Herefordshire countryside (just on the England & Wales border).

A little bit about me: I'm married with 2 kids. Married with 2 dogs. Still trying to work out which ones give me more respect!
I work in Music. I've spent a great many years in the Music Industry - learning my trade as a record producer with UK-Reggae group, UB40.
I write pop music now. And do some training on the side (also a formally qualified manager, both operational and strategic)
I'm signed to a music publisher in the Far East, and am looking for more publishing worldwide (currently focusing on the US & Canada).
If you like 80's-style pop music (disco & funk), then you might like our stuff. Check out "Armstrong & Stayte" - Facebook page.
Here's our SoundCloud too

Not a hard sell, just hope you like it

As the success is growing, I'm finding myself getting ever closer to the Ferrari dream. I'm looking at a 360 Spider to start off with, or if the royalty check allows, a 458 Spider

I don't take myself very seriously, and enjoy both taking the p1ss, and having the p1ss taken out of me
I'm a big sports person (playing rather than watching), I game as well, and I (ocd-mode) enjoy detailing my cars - the whole 2 bucket, snowfoam etc etc

What am I looking for in joining this forum?
Simple - like-minded professionals, maybe some networking, some laughs, and a lot of talking about Ferraris

Anything I've missed, please feel free to ask

See you around the forums

Dan

Dan- Welcome to Ferrari Life. What I know about music can be inscribed in inch high letters on my thumbnail. Combined, though, we know quite a bit about Ferraris and there is a high percentage of owners here with lots of personal experience. Hope you enjoy it here.

Welcome Dan, You sound like a guy I would like to have a pint with. Keep going living life to it's fullest and remember the immortal words of Ian Anderson, "You're never too old to rock and roll if you're too young to die".

Welcome Dan. If I were you, I'd go F430 Spider instead of 360 spider (if the 458 remains out of reach). So much more car for the money. Just make sure that the manifolds are in order.

Good luck with the search!
