Living in a dream!?

MY FIRST FERRARI!, 99 F1 360. A year or two ago owning such an incredible car was but a distant fantasy. I never thought I would wake up to find one relaxing in my garage! What an amazing feeling! I actually hugged it last night... Is that weird?

JB- Welcome to Ferrari Life. They run better if you hug them. True fact. Anybody who does not frequently stick his head in the garage to admire his new girlfriend has something missing.

Congrats JB,

If you think it's weird then we are all #%^ĄD!

Welcome to FL. Now we need to see pics. Not pics of you actually hugging. That would be a bit weird. There's some things best left to just you two.

David.

Although driving it is best, just looking at it is pretty good, too!

Best wishes, John

It is not even weird when you start buying things for it to wear, when you wash it... I'd better stop there.

Thank you all for the warm welcome! Haha, It feels good to be in the company of people who accept car lust as the norm! I am an artist out of Seattle. Doesn't seem to be a ton of Ferrari owners around but if anybody is in the area I am always down for a drive!

Hooray, hooray, the first of October, Ferrari Life begins today. Congratulation Jason and welcome to FLife.

I remind myself of a penny postcard (yes, there actually were such things when I was very young!) I rec'd in my law office. I was just starting (1962) practice with my dad (small general practice), was usually first in the office to open the mail, but this day Dad was in first and did the mail. It was an era when one simply never heard or read rough, crude or obscene language of any kind. Dad walked into my office, flipped the postcard onto my desk and asked: 'what kind of friends do you have?' On the face was my name and office address, no return address, while the reverse read:

'Hooray, hooray, the first of May, outdoor f--king starts today!'

Took me three months to track down the culprit.

while my one-track [alleged] mind is working its best, this reminds me of an old Navy aphorism (Taz may remonstrate that this is not exclusive to the Senior Service):

when love-making is good it's sensational and when love-making is awful it's still pretty good.
