Thanks! I love this little thing. It's got a K&N cold air intake and is straight piped. It still has the headers, downpipe, and midpipe. Wasn't too impressed with the quite sound that came from it, removed the muffler....now she purs

Chris, I have never driven before, but I see a lot of them around. If I am not mistaken, they have been around for well over twenty years and that is the proof that she is popular with strong followings. I like the overall size, balance, and power. Sure looks like a great, fun car to zip around.

Yep, 25 year anniversary this year. Highest selling model of a sports car around the world. Close to 1,000,000 since '89. Mine is an '03 with the sport suspension and brakes. It is quick and sticks to the ground like glue.

I love the MX5/Miata. Had a 1992, mk1, pop up light version for many years. It was my first sports car, back in the mid nineties and Mrs F and I covered many great miles in it when we were just 2 back then. After I stopped driving it, it was in my garage for 7 years, I just couldnt bear to let it go. Then finally (when the GT4) meant it had to go, I sold it (and it sold within 24 hrs to another car nut, thankfully).

Would love to have another one. Not too powerful, but wonderful handling and great fun.

Ferrari's: 360 Modena, 550 Maranello
Ex's: Dino 308 GT4, 612 Scaglietti
The Rest: Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, Porsche 911 2.7s, Porsche 911 3.2 Carerra, Ducati 916... and the Land Rovers

Exactly, it is wonderful to drive. It doesn't need 500 hp....although I wouldn't mind 500 hp It is an absolute blast!

A Miata with a Chevy small block and other suitable mods is a wonderful thing. Plus a great sleeper.
