New guy with a 430

Hey guys -

Started my first thread in the F430 forum but thought Id pop in here to say hello while its being held in moderation.

Picked up my lifes dream and culmination of years of hard work this weekend, a black/black F430. Only posting here because its raining out and I cant drive it lol.

Hope to be an active part in the community here, Ive been lurking and learning for a long time before owning. Excited to get in the mix.

Spoo, congrats and welcome to FL. Well done !

If it is raining outside (where ?) then positing pics would be a good way to spend your time too.

Cheers Jimmy - NY - and you're right - though that would also have meant I had to have stopped driving at some point while the sun was shining.

Heres a few quick ones..

Thanks man. My wife is in full support of my new girl. This way she wont have to listen to me talk about it anymore.

Appreciate your warm welcome, catch you 'round.

Can't argue with good taste in colors

Welcome to FerrariLife. The best place to be in the rain.
Of course the other option is to bring the laptop in the garage and post from the drivers seat

More pictures......

Drive it well

So, a student of the value proposition

Well played...... Very neat story. Shortly you will be a car dealer I am sure. I know I want to be...

It goes like this- If I sold my pens , I could buy a watch, If I sold my watches, I could buy a car, if I sold my cars...No wait, I would never sell my cars. How could I live without my cars.

And don't wake the four year old- So have you shut the airbag off and put the car seat in the Fcar?

I had mine at C&C this Saturday. trouble is all Ferrari carseats ( kids) are crap.

Dealer? Not so sure. Collector? Very sure.

We have the Ferrari carseat in our SUV, she loves it. She takes the steering wheel from the Wii in the car to pretend drive. lol.

Welcome to FL and congrats on the car (and story).

You've restored my faith that some people have a work ethic rather than bemoaning those earn and live life as they dream.

Your are an inspiration and poster boy for many of today's youth

If you have not found it, there is an early, incomplete F430 workshop manual, plus other tech data and owners manuals, available for free download at ferraridatabase.com.

This really, really means alot to me. I appreciate that man. I busted my ass to get here. Up at 5, down at 12, 7 days a week for years.

This morning I was up at 530, but took a spin with reckless abandon and a smile plastered across my face.
