New owner and pretty darn psyched about it...

Taking a bit of a plunge here. Have never driven a 360, but found one I really liked half-way across the US and pulled the trigger. She's an '04 Modena, 6-speed, red/black (too much of a newbie still to use the official color names...), with just over 8K miles, Ferrari-certified for a year. This car is exactly how I'd have ordered it new: base wheels (like them a lot better than the modulars for some reason); red calipers; red stitching; shields; Daytona power seats. No clue which aftermarket exhausts are best on Ferraris, but this one has a Nouvalari, which sounded darn good on video.

So...will I be happy with my decision?

Will post pix soon.

First of all, welcome and congrats with your red beauty.
If you will be happy depands on how the car performs, did you do a PPI? The Fcertfication should give some security.
Enjoy!

John- Welcome to Ferrari Life. Sounds like a great car and the 2004s have any updates made during production.

Go to ferraridatabase.com and you can download owners manuals and workshop manuals for your car for free.

All: Thanks for your replies -- will definitely post pics as soon as I take them. Did get a ppi, but most of my confidence comes from the certification -- we'll see if that holds.

Taz: Thanks for the tip on the manuals.

This is gonna be fun...

Well done John, and welcome to the forum.
I agree, a perfect set of options, and those seats are fantastic.
You're going to love the car.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Thanks, guys -- much appreciated.

Jimmy: Yes, Manhattan Beach is in LA -- just south of LAX. Manhattan, Hermosa and Redondo Beaches line the southern arc of Santa Monica Bay.

That is just great, John. Cruise down or up PCH 1 with windows down and take in all of that sound and dry LA weather ! Needless to say, Mulholland too ! Enjoy your beautiful ms.

Nice find and a six-speed manual no less.

Enjoy the car John! Great choice (no bias here).

Welcome to Ferrari Life too!
