New Ferrari Owner : 2007 F430

Hello everyone -

First time Ferrari owner; just purchased a 2007 F430 thanks to the vast and readily amount of information and insight offered here by you all.

I've previously owned multiple Porsches and BMW models. My current DD is a '12 911s (991) but I may see how the 430 is up to the demands of being a DD in DC Metro area. Anyone else live in the area and DD with 430?

Pic attached.

Welcome to Ferrari Life. Nice F430. No reason she would not make a good DD in DC.

Congrats Ari, and welcome to the forum. She's a beauty.

Watch out around Union Station and in NE DC, the roads are very rough, YOU WILL scrape the chin and bottom out easily. Going west through Georgetown is a parking lot, eastbound is OK. GW parkway and Dolly Madison make for lovely drives.

You'll have to join us at Katies, Donuts, or City Dock on the weekends.

Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.

Welcome to FL
Sweet car!

Bring it to City Dock Annapolis, Sundays from 9am-noon for cars and coffee when the sun is out and temps are in the 60s. I'll buy you a cup of java.

We get a good turnout of exotics and imports, as many as 56 last summer

Congrats again!

Congrats and welcome. There are a lot of great events here in the DC area.

Check out the mid Atlantic section for details.

Congratulations and welcome, Ari.
Realize that you will now be making up excuses to get more milk, pipe tobacco, classical music CD's, etc as justification to drive around that Prancing Horse. Be sure to attend some shows and track events.
Had a great time once conversing with a guy in a McDonald's parking lot. He had a late 60's overbored/stroked Corvette and was fascinated seeing a mid-engined Ferrari.
Best.

Thanks to everyone for such a warm welcome! I look forward to engaging with everyone in greater detail and hopefully meeting some of you at local events.

The Great Falls Cars & Coffee is right next to my wife's work, so I plan to attend them.

One more thing (and this may be a silly question) but how do I update my profile to "owner"?

Welcome to Flife, and congrats!
You need a moderator to do that for you, but no doubt someone will chime in and arrange it for you.
Enjoy the forum!

I've probably taken 100 pictures of this car since I've got it.

Sadly, it's snowing in DC today; she'll have to stay in.
