Welcome to FLife, Ryan, you'll find that this place is like your comfortable old bed - easy to get into, but hard to get out of... that's my personal experience anyway after a few months.

Nice specs with Grigio Silverstone, I had it on my 612... so you will use the red callipers, too?

Yes forgot, red calipers also. Also sport exhaust. These specs sound ok? I really think it would be awesome with a black roof option, but I already feel stupid for buying a 300k car.

Ryan- Should be very pretty, although I am partial to yellow tachs that match the Cavallino Emblem in the steering wheel. Either red or yellow looks good, though. Grigio Silverstone looks great on any Ferrari.

I hadnt thought of that aspect, I really like the yellow tach but thought it would look odd with the red interior, maybe not?

Ryan- No, yellow will look fine with red in the interior. My 575 is Rosso Corsa with yellow calipers and the two colors go together well. Red calipers will look great with Silverstone.

Thanks, I might just go that route. Are you a veteran? That quote in your signature sounds like something my father might say.

Grigio Silverstone with red/black will be nice. I agree with Terry that yellow tach looks nicer and would not contrast with the red interior. CF driver zone is top choice.

I thought I remember liking "iainuk" seat style on his spider and it looks good...here is the photo (Iain, I hope you don't mind). Do play around with the combination of all, carpet, seat's stripes and stitching to get what you like to sit in the car everyday

Very much so. Personally, I have a black tach on my 458 with a similar black/red alcantara interior. You may have seen my car on F-chat or here. http://www.ferrarilife.com/forums/cu...58-italia.html

And I would skip the sports exhaust. It does not alter the sound, instead it is just a black exhaust tip. For me, on a dark car like your Silverstone, the silver exhaust stands out better.

And welcome!

Thanks everyone, and thanks taz for your service.. I know my father paid high price and I respect veterans very much. Also lost a good friend and his brother... one a seal and one army sf to a homicide bomber and I believe IED respectively.
