Muftah,

Photos look good, like the 16M in your garage as well. Enjoy the V12 beast!

It seems you have been to Mass before! Have You?
It is approximately 45 miles south of Boston, toward Cape Cod.

Nice 576M!

The 16M needed a good stable mate.

Congrats!

Hopefully they get one more next fall

How's the 16M treating you?

Personally - I think the 16M is Spider perfection.

16m

Doug,
Today, is my 2nd time I drive it, I took it for a 20 minute spin, the car is simply amazing. I love the exhaust thunder sound that comes to life at acceleration and at higher rpm, it has an incredible burst and driver feedback. I do not have as much experience as you do with 16M, but I agree with you; it is the perfect spider on all levels, you can not feel sleep even when you are just cruising. It's so captivating driving machine.
I have been driving the 575 more often since I traded the Maserati QP, I found the 575 to be an exciting Beast with a lot of versatility. However,The 16M holds its own league. I could have spent less money buying brand new 458 cope, but it does not move me; it's less engaging, too much video game for me. What I am saying is that the 458 is so perfect that is less thrilling than 16M. This is my opinion. I have to drive 16M more often before the winter comes. I am hooked now.

Ron,

I am glad you like the 575 pictures.
In the modified mirror, I custom installed Passport 9500ci radar detector.
The black tail lights are made by the German company, Novitec.

I understand that 100% - the 16M is a mixture of all the best worlds from Ferrari.

That thunder and seeing all the lights on the steering wheel light up followed by a kick on the upshift makes me feel like a kid at the candy store

Wow, quite the stereo install on your 575m. Who did the radar detector install, looks great and very clean.

Thanks a lot guys for your nice comments about my 575M,
Mark...The stereo system, interior and exterior CF, and the radar detector were fabricated/installed by Jeremy of Advanced Audio of Sharon, Mass. However, the place has been closed for some time now; too bad..Jeremy was extremely creative and talented.
I like to add a radar to my 16M, but I have to be extra careful about the interior of the car; I am thinking
to install K40 RL360 with pods led and wireless remote control.
Taz...on the 575M, I have recently installed a Tubi X pipe with my tubi standard mufflers, I am still not happy about the sound of the exhaust at hi Rev, it sounds really good only at idle.
What do you think about Larini Sport Exhaust Catalysts and Larini Club Sport Mufflers with valve control. or just only do the mufflers!? I am looking for assertive exhaust tones and some howl/roar across mid-hi Rev Range, I am not looking for obnoxious loud noise; I liked the 09 Maserati QPs (traded for 16M) exhaust tones with the oval upgrade mufflers with valve control. what do you recommend!.
Also, did you install the F1 gtc ecu.
regards
Muftah

Muftah- In Summer 2003, Ferrari went to straight pipes on the 575M to replace the center muffler/resonator. V12s are essentially two straight sixes on the same crankshaft and do not need an X-pipe because of the evenly spaced exhaust pulses. Some people like the sound of an X-pipe better, though, even if the straight pipes do produce more hp and torque.

Exhaust sound is so much an individual preference that it is hard to give any really good advice. I usually tell the owners of early 575Ms and 550s to just replace the center muffler with straight or X-pipes and see how you like the sound. If not, go for a different muffler. There are high end and low end systems, all of which have different sounds and are available with or without valves and in varying loudnesses for each manufacturer.

PorscheGuy does not like the sound of his Superamerica factory HGTC exhaust, but I love the sound of my identical exhaust, so you see what I mean. My favorites are valved Capristo and Kreissieg for aftermarket, but both are expensive. Add a Capristo remote, and you can open the valves whenever you want.
