Hello from a proud new parent / owner

Hi all,

I have been a member for a couple weeks now and wanted to formally introduce myself. I live in British Columbia, Canada and am very proud to say that my wife and I just purchased our first Ferrari. She is a spotless, well cared for 1995 F355 Berlinetta and is an absolute smile machine! We're beside ourselves. Here are a couple shots attached as well.

Thank you to everyone who's already helped me in response to a couple inquiries I had, and thanks for all of the great archived discussions and advice - the F355 maintenance conversations, debates of 355 vs 360, and general spirit on the forum here all gave me a lot of tools and confidence when trying to choose the one.

I won't ramble, but happy to have joined the community and I'm looking forward to many conversations with all of you. And for those of you in BC - maybe a cruise or two?

Cheers,
D

Thanks Jimmy! That is a gorgeous car you have there.

I'm hoping for some sunshine this weekend to take the car out and get some photos in the BC scenery... fingers crossed.

D- Great looking F355. Yellow looks so good on most Ferraris, especially F355s.

Gotta love a yellow Ferrari - Congrats!

Is that a stock exhaust - looks special?

Congratulations! The car looks great! In most instances I consider there to be only one color for a Ferrari, red. However, the 355s look unbelievable in yellow. I have to say that if I were to purchase a 355 I would lean toward the yellow. Good luck and many happy miles!

Thank you, D. Sadly, she is not with me anymore.

My very first Ferrari several years back. Had this manual 355 for almost three years then. Unfortunately, I took only several pics then. Here is a couple.

Thanks everyone - quite the welcoming bunch! And I doubt I'll ever tire of the compliments on car and colour specifically.. OK, let's see if I can do a mass reply here:

Bob, I agree with you 100% re: there being only one true colour, but 355 in Yellow and 458 in white are (to me) the exceptions that make the rule.

Gus: I'm in the lower mainland. Attached is a pic from a recent drive up the sea to sky.

Doug: It's got Tubi exhaust on it, and hyper flow cats. Can't take any credit as both were installed by a previous owner, but I can't get over how amazing this thing sounds.

Barry: appreciate the kind welcome, and here are a couple more pics.

Cheers everyone.

Congrats! Love yellow on the F355, one of it's better colors. Enjoy what I'm sure is awesome driving up in BC and welcome to FLife.

Welcome, and great choice - the 355 body in that color is a particularly attractive combination. It looks beautiful!
