Hi from Charlotte NC

Hi guys and gals, Im Mike from Charlotte NC in the US. I fell in love with Ferrari in 1994 when i saw my first 355 drive down the street and its been a passion ever since. Im a diehard Ferrari F1 fan and recently had the chance to go to Melbourne for the Aus GP. Ive never had the chance to sit inside of one, but i never let that hold back my passion for the history, racing heritage and excitement. Looking forward to learning from the owners and chatting it up with the racing fans this F1 season. Thanks

Mike

Mike

Welcome to Ferrari Life

Charlotte is the wife's favorite city in the US and we try to visit once or twice a year.

We could always use more knowledge in the F1 section.

Dude...Don't come north. Connecticut is far worse. I drove through (around) Charlotte in February on the way to pick up our new puppy in Greenville, SC. Love that area also. I'm actually considering a move to the Eastern Tennessee in the Knoxville/Johnson City vicinity before long. That Dragons tail is beckoning me.

Oh I want out of the US as a whole. The last 2 years I've went down for the Australian GP I just keep falling more in love with the girls and their accents, and for the Dragons tail it is purely amazing to drive even in a Honda civic. Just drive it at 2-4am when their are no other drivers out to watch for.

Edit: I just thought if i didnt go to the aus gp the last 2 years. That would of been a nice little down payment on a early-mid 90's ferrari totaled project car of course *slaps forehead*

Also i had a question that has been killing me for the last 2 years but never knew where to get a answer which is the DRIVERS car when and IF i ever do get the means my 2 favorites are the F430 Coupe and the 360 Modena coupe black on black F1 gearboxes or even a 355 spyder. I doubt id come within 5 feet of any 3 but that eats at me when i think about it.

Between those 3 I'd take the 355 every time. The others have to many nanny's and touch filters for me.

Mike welcome

Just so you are clear what you fell in love with was a 348 not a 355

355 did not come out till 1995 not 94, so unless you saw the prototype you love the 348.

As well you should it is a terrific Ferrari
