Hokey- Welcome. The 575M is measurably faster than the 550, but from the driver's seat there is virtually no difference. Both are torque monsters like the Testarossas, but dual length intakes provide a powerful punch to redline from a little less than 6000 rpm up to the 7500 rpm redline.
If you look in the modern V12s forum, there is a technical thread sticky at the top on the 575M. Read through that and see if you have any questions. Early 02 575Ms with one particular shock absorber ECU have caused complaints on being underdamped, but that is easily remedied by replacing it. More in the thread.
Three pedal 575Ms were only 11.9% of production so there are only 246 worldwide. Can be difficult to find one you like.
