My first horse.

Hi Guys (and Gals?),

Last week I've bought my first Ferrari.
I was shopping for a new BMW M5 (F10) and ended up buying a '07 F430 with +/- 8k miles on it.
Mid-Life crisis at 30 you might ask? Neh, just common sense I guess.
I'm a big fan of high revving N/A engines and all those new engines with turbo's just don't work for me.

So here it is, cheaper than an M5 and I haven't been more anxious in my life just to drive it out of the showroom.
The delivery will be end of this month so enough time for me to read about all the available mods

When we first met, love at first sight! :P

I was really excited about this thread until I realized I had missread the title "My first whores".

Anyway, congratulations to great reasoning and to a fabulous Ferrari!

JWD- Welcome. A red F430 is a great choice for a first Ferrari, and yours is a beauty. Very quick and very reliable.

Thanks for the very warm welcome, and don't worry It's not easy to scare me away.
My wife (to be) is pretty straight forward so she won't forbid me to login either.

After the longest February in 4 years this will be the longest March of my life .

I really love the classic combo red/tan but what really triggered me is that this is a triple tan with red piping/stitching.

On this quick snap you can't see how stunning it is IRL but it gives an idea...

Ok watching Youtube was good for the time being but today I picked up the real deal and I love it!!!
I've driven Ferrari's that were owned by friends but nothing beats your own Ferrari, it's 'just' a F430 but I'm in heaven right now .

Even the weather wasn't that bad today, here's the first phone pics;

JW- She is beautiful and looks brand new. Winters must be rough on you guys if you cannot drive your cars.

Nice photography, too. Love the interior.
