New 355F1 owner

I have been lurking for quite some time and recently bought my 99 355F1 Berlinetta. I made out pretty good with a PPI and major done in December and I bought it first week of Feb. The car is clean with all the major systems operating properly. PPI and my own inspection found a few minor things like a sticky HVAC and dead alarm siren (already pulled it and ordered a new battery). Headers, cats, clutch and a few other things are all new as well.

This is my first Ferrari but not my first exotic, I also currently own a Lotus Elise that is tricked out with a pretty serious supercharger rig and stripped of all extra weight. Outside of cars I enjoy building my own aircraft and flying, I also co-host a podcast all about classic video games and pinball with two good friends, if you like that sort of stuff check us out at Retro Video Game Podcast | RetroGamingRoundup.com | Monthly Gaming Retrotainment

My to-do list over the next few weeks;

Capristo 3 muffler
Fabspeed upper cat delete pipe
Hyperflow cats
Fabspeed CF intake and pipes
CF sill plates
CF engine guards
SRI gold connector kit
Intake resonator delete
CF center console
CF radio and gauge surround
Hill aluminum foot rest
Modern touch screen nav system
HID headlights
Concealed Bell STi driver radar detector
Clear corners
CF door handles
CF mirror covers
CF paddle shifts

I bought the cat from Chicago Motorcars and have a few shots from the showroom, I'll post some more as soon as I get a chance to take some.

SBrat- Welcome again. Beautiful F355 and with that F1 system you get F1 and can practice heel and toe (or left foot) at the same time, since she does not have a digital throttle. Several owners have said that makes them feel more in touch with the car.

Looks like you have a nice set of goodies planned for your new mistress. Not sure if they make them for the F355, but if the do, I would recommend the Carbonio shifter paddle sold by Ricambi. Have them on my car and they are functionally outstanding, and pretty to boot.

Beautiful color. Congrats!

Wow, that is quite the list of stuff you are planning. A man with a plan - I like it!

Are you going to do the SRI Gold Connector upgrade yourself? If so, let me know if you run into any trouble. I did mine a year ago and would be happy to give some tips.

I do plan on doing it myself, I build homebuilt aircraft as a hobby and we have some pretty high end glass panel avionics these days so the cut/strip/terminate/insert drill is pretty familiar. But if I run into any issues I certainly would appreciate the first hand experience.

The car looks really clean, sounds like you did your homework and spent the time to find a solid car as well. Congrats! Hope to see you and the 355 around town at the various gatherings.

Congrats on the car! But I have to be honest, what really catches my eye in your photos is the rebel flag you have hanging in your garage . It's great to see people paying homage to their southern roots. Keep it flying!
