Howdy.... long-time member from that "other place"

Just thought I'd see what FerrariLife is all about... I've been at
"the other place" for 2.5 years ... heard about this place for some time and
wanted see what it's like. Got lucky that my username could be the
same for both places...

Anyway, HI!

Quite the nice welcome.... thanks guys. I see someone has apparently
already vouched me into "ownership"... thanks to whomever that was.
It's just a TAD EASIER here than at TOP. So I upped to 3-year "elite"
subscription and we'll see where it goes...

Still figuring out where the gas, clutch and brakes are here and learning
how she corners.

Welcome Dave...seen you around over there. I use both places for various reasons. I like this one for the personal stuff. Great bunch of guys that can take and give a joke without getting panties in a bunch.

(unless of course you like that sort of thing...in which case...bunchem up)

you'll find the "new post" button to be a kind friend.

That's my only motivation too, really.... just something different - with some
different voices and maybe areas with a different vibe. I'll probably always
be a "steady" there, and all that - but this looks like a friendly and
informative place too. Much less active I can see.... but that's kind of
nice. You know, get out of NYC for a while and head up to Cornwall on
Hudson for a day. That sort of thing.

I like it here for that.

You been transplanted? today you need to go further than Cornwall to get some peace. Try Limerock or the Glen

Oh no.... still live 30 miles south of Seattle.... but I've been to NYC and
Cornwall a fair number of times. I love to stay at the Painter's Inn in
town there. Great little place.

But I'm still very much a West Coast guy.
