I looked a t both the TR and the 348 Spider since I love the lines of both. The TR w/ 12 cyl was a big draw but the convertible 348 offered the open top. I ultimately went with the spider and absolutely love it. If there had been a factory TR spider IMO it would have been the best of both. The TR Spider looks like the 348 on steroids!!

4 days !! The first two were jittery problem solving with a CEL light but that's straightened out and have had one good day to drive without the rain! Ah, but what a great first day. Really can't wait for the weather to break to get out there.

Are you in Europe or the US? We have finally had a few good driving days in the last couple of weeks.

You should post up a few pictures in the 348 owners section:

I've been reading the posts for a couple of months while I was looking for the car, and it's only been delivered last week, so unfortunatley I've not met anyone directly. There is the Supercar meeting this weekend which I plan on attending so hopefully soome others will look for me. Who is Lambo65?

Lambo65 is one of the guys here. He has a very impressive collection of Supercars.

you know i never really warmed to the Testarossa even as a kid...
i liked the subtle shape of the 308/328 much more.

however the TR spider has totally changed my mind....it really emphasises the curves...

Stunning (although less so with the roof up )

There is a nice yellow TR spider running around Marbella (on Irish plates). Looks good with the roof down.

I saw a yellow Spyder by Straman in Osenat auction (France) in 2004 SN#71645.
It was built for Victoria Principal ( Actress TV serie Dallas).
Here are pics of the interior I found on internet.
A very good taste...

Victoria or the TR?

Personally, I consider chopping my car if (1) it could be done professionally and locally and (2) no one screwed with the interior. I've already done some minor mods (F40 Brembos, 18" HRE wheels, carbon fiber glass deck lid, etc.)

I saw a pic of a F-40 wing on a TR - bad idea.

A horse is a horse, of course, of course, and no one can talk to a horse of course. That is, of course, unless the horse is the famous Mister F.
