So owning a Ferrari has been one of my final bucket list items...and I’m terribly excited to announce I insured today, and pick up Friday afternoon my 1st Ferrari!

While certainly not the Ferrari some of you own, I’m beyond excited...and perhaps a tad proud. So here’s what we have:

2007 F430 Modena Spider F1
12k miles
Rosso Corsa w/Black (red stitching) interior
Purchased @ Penske Ferrari in Scottsdale AZ
Clear PPI (few minor things being done by dealer)
Car fax says backing accident with stationary object, but zero visible damage.
Have a new clear bra put on
New Perrelli tires (I was torn as I read great review on Michelin’s but seemed sacrilegious to not put Italian tires on an Italian machine)
Nothing aftermarket - however I did order a set of Sivini DM 14 silver as the original wheels just seemed to fall a bit short imho (apologies to the purists)

She has a nice spot by her self in the single bay of our multi bay garage (sorry, kicking grams Toyota out!)...ok so truth be told my tundra is coming out, gram is going next to the wife’s Infiniti...but hey, either way.

I’ve been up watching videos all night, and have to lead an exec meeting at 7am...but I can’t sleep. Was on a call with my 20 year old this evening (I’m 40 this year), and he reminded me 16 years ago...in our little one bedroom apartment...how we used to look at Ferrari’s...and dream one day. HOLY SH*T that one day is 2 days away lol

Ok...sorry for being such a newb.

Any advice before I sign off on Friday?

Where on here should I start reading? After months of research elsewhere I just found this site.

Thanks in advance

FYI no macho stuff here, yes the wife test drove it before I said yes lol pic below

Update, pic with new wheels below

Congratulations! Nice color combination. BTW Pirelli ihas been owned by ChemChina for a few years now. Though technically Italian , I consider them a Chinese company.

Niceeeee welcome to this world...You can say you finally made it.
You are a Ferrarista now.

You will have the time of your life. I did when I got my first, although it was a gift I could not sleep either, I used to get up in the middle on the night and went to sit inside for a while. Man did I had fun.

Regards
