Ferrari f430 2007

Hi , I am looking to purchase my first exotic car and currently a local dealer has a 2007 Ferrari f430 for sale for 140k CAD, and mileage is 13800km.

Do you guys think it is a good deal based on the year and mileage? How much of an actual price should I be considering?

Thanks a lot

Welcome to Ferrari Life. Where are you? Will likely have a bearing on how much the F430 is worth. I am guessing Canada. If so, is the price Canadian or US dollars? What options does she have?

Partially my fault for not reading his post completely. He already stated Canadian dollars, but I missed it. What I get for answering posts at 1 am. That is pretty cheap for an 07 F430 if she is a nice one. If she is Celeste with no options, not so good.

That is a good price, as long as there are no major faults with the car. A friend just bought an 05 for about the same money, similar miles, decent options, not Red. The 430's seem to have dropped some, but there is usually a catch, so don't make a rash decision and write a check without a thorough PPI.

Hello,

A good pre-purchase inspection (PPI) will not only establish the fair market price for the car, but it will also inform you of the car's condition. For example, we recently learned here that a new transmission can be as much as $40k. Without a PPI, you are gambling on the repair and maintenance costs.

If you post your location here or send me a private message (PM), I may be able to assist you with contacting a PPI agent in your area.

Good luck,

There are 43 F430 coupe and spiders listed on autotrader.ca so there's certainly lots to buy. The prices range from $115k (2005 with 53,000 km) to $180k (2009 spider with 28,000 km).

If the F430 you are considering is the one for sale at GTA Motorcars, they are a reputable reseller of exotic cars in Toronto.

2007 Ferrari F430 F430 COUPE 485HRP for $139,888 in Toronto | autoTRADER.ca

From the photos it appears to be nicely optioned as follows:

- carbon fiber dash option,
- carbon fiber steering wheel with LED
- daytona interior
- contrast stitching
- yellow tachometer
- black wheels
- back and front parking sensors

If a PPI shows no obvious signs of problems, then the $140k price is very reasonable, although you should be able to bargain a lower price.

Good luck with your purchase.

Seems as the F430 is cheaper in Canada. Any insights why?

Hello Kim,

I do not know where you are located, so I cannot comment on your local F430 prices. But after making a quick scan of US prices, they are about the same as in Canada 2005 to 2009 - $120,000 to $190,000 depending of course on mileage, year, condition, and options. Because there is a much larger selection of Ferraris in the US versus Canada, there's usually a better price for a similar car there.

Looks okay, although it's low milliage would somehow make thoughtful. It's spec is good and the car looks in good condition from what i can see in the pictures. If you are seriously considering buying it a PPI (which can be found and downloaded from this link : http://www.ferrarilife.com/forums/fe...checklist.html ) including a compression and leak down test are mandotory.Always gives a proper insight on how the car has been used ( a lot of idiots don't let them complete the cold start cycle or rev them all the time and the list is endless... ).As for the price,i think the dealer would accept 135000$ if you negotiate properly.Good luck with this car if you think this is the one for you or with keeping on searching for your perfect Italian other half.Greetings,Alexandros.
