1970/80s Ferrari's - original market values

Greetings all,
I am hoping some of you might be able to assist in a little market analysis I am carrying out on some 1970-1980's Ferrari models. At present, I am trying to find out what the approximate original market values were for the below list of cars. Approximate values are all I need at the present time, and I have taken a random selection of models from that era which interest me.

I would also welcome thoughts on current values (again approx estimates) for the same models if one were to purchase in 2013.

Preference is for Euro and/or GBP values, but any assistance in any currency would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you in advance!

1970 Dino 246 GTB
1970 Dino 246 GTS
1971 365 GTB/4 Daytona
1973 365 GT4 BB
1978 308 GTB
1978 308 GTS
1980 512 BB
1984 Testarossa

Ferrari's: 360 Modena, 550 Maranello
Ex's: Dino 308 GT4, 612 Scaglietti
The Rest: Rolls Royce Silver Shadow, Porsche 911 2.7s, Porsche 911 3.2 Carerra, Ducati 916... and the Land Rovers

Barry,
Not quite your desired date, and I hope I am recalling correctly but I went into a Ferrari dealer in London in 1976 to look at a 10 month old 512BB on offer for pounds 12000. The salesman tried to talk me up to buying a new one for pounds 14000. By comparison, I owned a two room flat in Teddington, which sold for pounds 12000 the following year. I didn't actaully have the means to buy either car,. I think I might even have been unemployed at the time.
From about 1970 to 1975, I used new Ferrari prices as a measure of inflation by the number of times I had to multiply my annual salary to buy one. At the time I had a Dino fixation and IIRC the 246GT-GTS was between pounds 4500 and 5000 in 1972, although I am less sure about the reliability of these two numbers, my age is showing.

Thank you Nigel,
That is actually very helpful. And approx estimates is all that is required at the moment anyway!

Barry- My Dino 246 GT was $10,600 in 1975 and I traded it and $5000 for a 70 Daytona in 1978. My Euro 78 308 GTS out of Germany was $18,000 in 1981. Sold to the US in 1983 for $21,000. There was no such thing as a euro currency back then.

Sometimes I worry about myself. I might be reasonably young but I can sure remember earning pounds and not Euro not too long ago

Barry, in the early 70's, the ballpark MSRP for a Dino was in the ballpark of USD $15,000 ~ $16,000 neighborhood.

Barry,

The last time I lived and worked in the UK (Burnley, Lancs) they were still on Pounds Sterling. When did the UK adopt the Euro? I guess I missed that!

Barry- If you want MSRP for many of those cars, I have that in the Brooklands compendiums of road tests.

Thought I got this from you, but it may have been someone else.

I'm in Dublin, Ireland. Not in the UK. UK is still in pounds as you correctly observed!
