Both have the technical fabric seats, which is not necessarily a deal breaker for me, but I've never seen it in person. Anyone in the DC area have a car with tech fabric seat bolsters that I could look at? My local dealership has no scuds with this option.

I am not a fan of the tech fabric cars. It includes seats, instrument cover, front of dash, area infront of transmission controls and some other light trim. Doesn't look good IMO mixed with the alcantara, was cheap for Ferrari to do it this way.

The B&B car ad is using photos from Silicon Valley Ferrari, mixed in with some normal F430 photos, be wary.

The Penske car should have red stitching inside to match the calipers, plus tech fabric. There are better looking cars available IMO.

Thanks for the reply. I had my concerns about the tech fabric as well. I'd never seen it in person and was going to take a chance on it. Its been hard to find the right car over these past few months. Looking for a black with yellow calipers and alcantara or leather interior. The closest I got to one, was sold before I could make a move on it. There's one thats local to me, but it has leather dash and the the original seats were switched out to alcantara, so it doesn't match.

Just keep watching Autotrader.com, Ebay.com, and Dupontregistry.com. Cars will come up. I had a Black 2009 Scuderia, loved the looks when it was clean, but I would never own a black car ever again.

Thanks
I'll continue to do that. I know what you mean about keeping black clean. I just wanted to avoid red or yellow, so I'm open to silver or silverstone. I think I just have to stay patient.

On another note, one of the cars I was considering had a clutch wear reading of 46% which is far higher than any reading that I've seen on any other car I've looked at. Is this a concern? At what point would the clutch need replacement? My understanding is that you should not wait until the wear gets to 100%
