Go with what you want
The F430 market is not fully depreciated but- you could try it and see if you like it. The spider is a different car and perhaps different driver. Yes, in STL there is one season for Fcars and it is interchangeable between coupe and spider.
That said, it is a car not a marriage. It can be upgraded without a real hassle.
Lastly, buy what you want not what you want to be able to sell. I agree with the 08/09s for the ultimate version but ( others may disagree) these years will have some more depreciation to go as well.
Just my thoughts.
I personally am not a convertible guy and will always go with coupes.
I have regretted often, but repented never. Is this a good thing? -Enzo Ferrari
