Sorry guys. Was dithering and someone beat me to it!

Problem in my mind was that tires only had 3 mm remaining and it was close to the 30'000 km service. That would have added CHF 5k to my costs during ownership as I would have done 4000km-5000km. Seller wasn't willing to negotiate on the price and before I could make a decision the car sold.

Maybe did me a favour as I thought it looked magnificent in Rosso Scuderia and it would have been difficult to give it away after four and a half months. I might have to be patient (not one of strengths I admit) and wait until we move back to the UK. However I am giving my 993 to a specialist on Tuesday to sell (he says he has a few people interested) so I could be free to make a purchase if something interesting comes onto the market. Running out of time as every weekend less that we have here the less sense there is in buying.

Main F dealer in Zurich has a 16M. Rosso Corso. 11'500 km. Was up for CHF 230k but reduced this week to CHF 200k. That seems like a pretty good price. Had we been staying in Switzerland that would have been worth a look (although had we been staying I wouldn't have let the CS go).

There is a light grey Scud for sale down south that has just 10k miles on it and looks very well priced.

Do you mean the 16M at 134k? Seems quite low. Does the car have a history? It just 30k discount for LHD?

SM- I think you way overestimated the cost of a 30,000 km service. The big one is at 50,000 km, not 30,000. That should just be a routine service with maybe spark plugs thrown in.

No, it is definitely a Scuderia and not a 16M.

Where did you see a 16M for 134k?

Sorry. Perhaps wasnt clear. Would have been CHF 2800 for 4 tyres and CHF 2300 for the 30'000 service so CHF 5000 all in.

Now regretting my inaction yesterday!

Is it me or is that a very good price for a 16M?

Ok, understand the misunderstanding. Don't ever consider them.

No idea why Flex Motor Sports advertises on Pistonheads, they are in the Czech Republic.

Ah. That makes a difference! I just saw the header for the advert and didn't click on it for details.

Reminds me of an advert I saw last year for a 16M (this was just prior to me getting the CS). Location was given as Zug, Switzerland. I called and was told the car was actually in the Czech Republic (I think from memory) and that perhaps it could be brought over if I were interested! Needless to say, I didn't take it further.
