Help in pricing this F430

Guys,

where would you price this car? sorry can't post pictures at this point to avoid getting the car sold from under me before i even see it! yes it has happened to me before.
I will be descriptive as possible

2006 Red/tan F430
6 speed stick
19K miles
newer tires (seller said new but he's been driving the car so...)
yellow tach
seats with red contrast stitching
standard 5 star wheels
standard rear section (sorry cheng no CF rear ...
sent me ptrs of the underside, looks clean, minimal scuffing.

a price range would be fine: I'll start...122-128K. 122 if needs work and 128 if no work and perfect but higher miles (i'd prefer 10 to 15K if he wants closer to 130K)

Boardwalk Ferrari has a 2005 red/black for $134000 F1- not three peddle 15k say maybe 5% discount so $128,000 for 2005

so I am aiming at $135-140 for 2006--I think the stick will command a liitle more in price

good luck

Thanks all!

Well, seller does not want to commit the car to me yet. it sounds like others are interested so we'll have to see if there is such a thing as fate. some wise Ferrari guy once told me, "if all the doors keep opening, its the one. if they keep closing, it ain't the one..." was it one of you guys???? wouldnt doubt it! we shall see if them doors remain open for this boy! i'll keep ya posted all the way! its going to be a long 13 more days!!! perhaps more possible F430's will pop up!!! i think i'll post a wanted ad over at Fchat!

Not yet...seller would not let me put money down to hold it even though i've already commited airfare and loding to view his car. 2 more days and i'll be on my way to check her out. Now seller is saying that if theres ANY rain, car will not be going in for PPI..i guess he thinks the car might melt ... if that is the case, it won;t be too likely that i'll be closing the deal during this trip. i wish it could though but we shall see. weathermen are usually wrong. however, NOT here in MN. they've been 3 for 3 the last 2 weeks: 3 major snow storms! good thing no F car in my garage yet.... i'd be too tempted to get her out! then again, she might melt... j/k... my car is going to be driven!!! snow tires??? yup...planning on the OEM 5 spokes getting a set of blizzaks and a new used set of scuderia wheels for summer performance tires....

Would consider red/tan 430 F1..paddles 2006 14k miles for $119,000 from Ferrari dealer

I am aware you want three peddle...but this price range is and dealerr will allowPPI

but only if your mechanic/technician can do inspection at the dealer shop using all his equipment

Please advise if In can help further as I continue search for 360

I was looking for a 6-speed but it was not really on "must have" list, I was willing to take whatever car I found first but would have preferred 3 pedals. I have not missed it at all and love the F1 now, the only time I wished I had a clutch was driving in the snow, the F1 really sucks in the snow since you can't control clutch slippage.

Good luck on the PPI....

miserable weather we have here in S. Calif eh ?

mike in Santa

Mikeyr,

Wife and i are in santa b as i type this here post. Thank you to all my f-life friends out there for taking such keen interest in my search! i have to say that i'm very grateful for all the things that has happened thus far. I will re-post a new thread when i get home and have a USB cable for my camera (forgot it!!!)

The PPI went better than expected! when the heck does that happen? i expected them to find at least some issues beyond what i already knew but NOPE. one close call that would have said i needed a new clutch: some oil or F1 like subtance on the thrust bearing after preliminary test drive (this happens B4 they go over the car in detail)...cleaned up that area DRY...finished the rest of inspection...test drove AGAIN to confirm if there was an oil leak onto thrust bearing...and NOPE...i was all smiles! car needed 1 new fr tire but i elected to do both...some bubbling in rear quarter window frame and will get that touched up. other than that, i learned a ton about MY car. i asked seller/dealer to pay for half those items and they said YES. deal done! i have no doubt whatsoever that the F1 is the right transmission for ANY Ferrari...the pluses are almost endless...that will have to be another thread. gotta turn in because long drive to san fran tomrw. The PPI was in Redondo Beach at a wonderful place called Fast Cars, Ltd. recommende by fellow F-lifer DanS to whom i am so grateful. The owner of Fast Cars and his entire staff was so kind, courteous, patient AND thorogh that i would not hesitate sending my F430 back from MN if and when my clutch needed to be done. i'm not going to worry about that for some time as my car drives like it was NEW...better than new because its been properly broken in! more to come!!! it still did not hit me yet!!! car may take a couple weeks to make it home because i'm also clear bra=ing the front.
