Scott, i'm going to wait and see what my bank decides. silly that i assume '07 and '06 be no big deal but the newer cars get better rates...pretty sure it shou;dnt be a big deal...
i totally appreciate the offer. i may take you up on it! i really want someone to just look closely at the body for chips, dings, poor repaint resulting in orange peeel or fish eye swirls.... seller is supposed to send me more pictures by end of day tomrw. if it does not satisfy me, i'll defeintley reach out to you.
PPI will most likely be done by Ferrari of Ft. lauderdale. Somehow the service guy i spoke to really insists on a compression test on all cars over 10K miles. this one has 9K. I recall reading on here that this test may not be as critical in certain cars. This car had a power cube warranty from 9/23/11 to 9/23/12. in order to get this, the car had to pass some rigorous inspection and compression. Since then, the car has gone 1000 miles wth the last owner. Then it sat on 2 dealer sales lots for the last 8 months. Ft. LAuder dale wants 500.00 for PPI and add'l 800.00 for compression. maybe i should call the Collection.
jose, any advice on the Collection service dept? i think its odd that various Ferrari dealers all charge dif amounts for their PPI's and compression tests. i.e. Miller 850 for ppi and compression, F of seattle 1000.00 for both...now F ft. lauderdale 1300.00??? i kind of think i shouod do it for peace of mind... but if PPI was clean, is it really absolutely necessary?
