feedback on this F430...

Guys

I've been scrutinizing a lot more on my future F430. not to mention the prices have gone to Sh**s lately. UNTIL, i saw this one...does anyone know the car? What are your thoughts on pricing? I'm not a fan of the black stripes on the seats but all other features check my boxes. This could be the one...so please don;t buy this from under me, okay??? i'll make it clear on here that i'm walking away then YOU can go ahead and buy it.... i value all of your input and hope to get into my dream car soon.

Taz, whats that build number again on the F430 that has the newer and more robust F1 pump???

Besides CCB's being std in '08, are there really any big benefits of getting '07 and newer? HELP! this could be the one !!

Cheng- New pump happened in 2005, so this one has it.

Not much change throughout F430 production except for F1 TCU updates just about annually, but all of the TCUs work fine and the F430 clutch is much more robust than the 360 clutch and was carried over to the Scuderia/16M. 08 got some options standard, like CCMs and battery charger.

The steel brakes work fine and are actually bigger than Maranello brakes in the rear.

Ask Cam at CNC for a Ferrari Life discount.

Cheng,

Great looking F430 there. I personally like the stripes on the seats, but that's a personal preference thing.

Good luck. Crossing fingers for you that the PPI goes well. Excited for you...hope this will be YOUR F car soon

Buy it or I will

Cheng

Love it. I agree with Mike- I love the Daytona seats with black inserts. More than that I love the challenge grill. Makes it less common, more distinctive.

They are a sponsor,no? Good luck. You could almost drive it back to MN. But don't. (Apparent tax issues with driving it off the lot I think- not sure about CA)

+1 for contrasting seat inserts; if maintained you'll love 'em. I wish I had them myself but wasn't a deal breaker option for me. More on your seats-they are IMO the most comfortable I've driven in all 360 & 430 models.

Good luck Cheng, routing for you!

They have 3

Cheng

Go for a visit - they have 3 red/tan 430s. One has same color inserts. Surely one will speak to you?

Cheng,

So sorry to hear that! But listen to Scott, they have supposedly 2 other red/tan 430s. Maybe you can check it out.

Also, did you email or call the dealers? From my own experience, don't bother emailing....just call them. The last car I got I was even texting the guy....and that was pretty cool And fast.

Best of luck....I can feel your F car will be yours soon

When I bought the Spider, I called on the ad three hours after it posted. Kept calling the owner until he finally answered. By then, he'd already made one appointment to show it and had recieved an one offer.

When the right car comes along, I think you have to be ready to pounce.
