I don't have personal knowledge of that car but I have been watching it on eBay, it's been listed there for quite some time.
It looks very clean from the pictures and is low mileage. There are others here who can chime in regarding production numbers, but I think by 2000, a stick was indeed uncommon. The Daytona seats are a very nice option, both uncommon and expensive. I find the statement regarding the stamped filler caps a bit odd - I think they all came like that as standard. The luggage, color, and seats were the only options I'm aware of.
Having the 15K service and belts done is nice.
I think it's a bit overpriced. I know of two recent sales, one a 1998 and the other a 2000. Although they had higher mileage, they went for 38K and 45K respectively. All the ones listed for over 60K have been sitting for months.
With the good PPI and market price, I think that would be a great car.
Of all the narcissists I know, I love me the most.
