PPI recommendation please

Hi guys (and gals?)

I have joined this forum as a pre-requisite on advice from one of your members before heralding my return to the Ferrari fold. Thank you Peter

I have now paid a deposit on a beautiful 16M and am chomping at the bit to get the car home however I have been advised wisely that a proper PPI would be a good idea

I have used the search facility to no avail and had a quick physical look today, though didn't go through pages and pages, so my apologies if this is a typical repost.

I am hoping that someone can recommend a PPI specialist, preferably someone with 16M knowledge, who is based in or near the midlands in the UK. If he's available tomorrow all the better

Thank you all very much, in advance.

Andy

Boxer Knows

Andy- Welcome to Ferrari Life. I believe Boxer had a good recommendation for a UK source and hopefully he will chime in.

Starting to be quite a few Scuderia/16M owners here now. Hope she works out and you enjoy her.

If you have the time, get it sent down to Carrs of Exeter and have Harvey check it over.

Otherwise try Neil Corns 07780-901-338

Hi Guys,

Thanks for the welcome. I did have a great recommendation from Scottish16M but just couldnt fit it in in the time frame, and vendor, understandbly IMHO, wasnt keen on sending the car all the way to Scotland

However, in the meantime, utilising the info given to me by Peter's guy I have managed to get a reasonably local guy, who I have had three recommendations for (Mother ... Father ... last one must be a customer ). As such Jeff at Shiltec Performance Cars is inspecting tomorrow pm.

Fingers crossed I might get it at the weekend

Thanks again

Andy

Car now inspected. 3 tiny points raised, two covered under warranty, one slight scuff mark under rear diffuser. Dealer collected car from inspection and took it straight to local Ferrari Dealer who is carrying out warranty work immediately.

Great service from both Tom Hartey and Shiltech Performance cars!

Hopefully being delivered Wednesday

Thanks for all your help, offers of help and kind words. It's kinda nice here, I may hang around

For PPIs in any part of the UK the only independent network specialising in Ferrari is www.carinspections.co.uk

As long as we're on the topic - any recommendations for PPI in the San Francisco CA area?
