Considering Buying an 09 Red F430 Coupe

It's out in California. It has 2412 miles on it, and is being offered at $179,000. Because someone asked me a couple times on previous threads, the Vin No. is ZFFEW58A190166315. Before I schedule a trip to go out and see it, what should I do beforehand?

MD- See if they will send you a copy of the service records and try and find someone competent nearby who can do a PPI just in case. $179K is getting real close to Scud money and is pretty expensive for an admittedly rare 09 coupe.

Every day I look around, and if nobody is shooting at me, it is a pretty good day.

Buy a Scuderia. You can get a 2008 easy for very close to that price. Night and day difference between a 430 coupe. If you want a softer ride, put it in race mode and hit the shock button.

Scuds are so undervalued

Think I am going to tune mine with an Evoms tune, and add Capristo Test pipes. I am getting used to the power, and of course crave more.

Took a friend for a ride last night, with many spurts up to 120 mph. Might be also changing to Pilot Supersports soon because I really don't like being able to go full throttle in first gear from around 4k on up.

Mark- We need to start a letter writing compaign to Michelin. No 285/35 19 available in the PSS. Closest are 275/35 19s and 305/30 19s

I agree. Maybe we can all go directly to Michelin, and then stop by at the Monaco Gran Prix?
