Need help purchasing 458

Hello everyone!

So great to find this site! I was wondering if anyone had any suggestions on how to go about purchasing a new 458 (2012 or 2013). I am serious buyer and would pay cash. I've heard the wait time can last 1-2 years. I live in Chicago.

Thank You!

Are you a first time Ferrari buyer? Do you have an existing relationship with a dealer?

Welcome to FL. would you consider buying a nearly new 458 (2011) as an alternative to a 12-18 month wait?

There is one for sale in the showroom of Ferrari of San Diego.
I think it's a 2011 with 1k mile.

TJ- Welcome to Ferrari Life. There should be no problem ordering a 458 coupe from one of the Chicago area Ferrari dealers. If you want a Spider, the wait might be longer, but anybody can order one.

Welcome to FLife

Tell both dealers the other dealer offered you a car in 8 months - what's the worst that can happen?

Those two have been feuding since they opened.

If that doesn't work - buy one of their used Ferrari's while you wait and have an agreed amount with miles to trade it in when your car lands.

I just saw a couple nice 458s at Foreign Cars Italia in Greensboro, NC. There is a Bianco/nero one, which is stunning with sweet options. I will try to post pics later. Call Hank Carpenter 336-516-3855 and he can have it for you in less than one week!

Wait time is 6-7 months through my dealer, ordered one yesterday. No big deal. He couldn't have been banned after just one post, oh wait, this is Ferrarilife.com, what was I thinking!
