Ferrari 456 Immobiliser Location

Hi All been having immoibliser issues so car has been sat for over 2 years.

I Purchased my car with only 1 fob which got wet in my trousers.

1. Tried to bypass Immobiliser so the car only runs on keys....Too technical

2. Order Fobs with key code - done with DK engineering but for some reason the key code did not work, was changed by previous owner from default code.

3. Order new immobiliser -

I spoke with Eric from France who said order a new immobiliser and replace your one.

Which i have done now but i need to replace. I do not know where my Immobiliser is located, i have read it is under the passenger seat but do not want to waste time looking.

Can anyone help here?

You can send me PM as i have asked Ferrari Marenello and many others either they do not know where it is or cannot disclose this to me due to a security risk.

The issue i have is i need this done asap as my car is just sitting rotting away, this used to me my pride and joy for 4 years and one simple problem like this destroyed my dream!

I know what you all may say - i went to Ferrari and they wanted me to change and set this all costing £5k and at that time till now i got married and a House so never had enough to fix.

So when this is complete looks like i may sell.

You can download a 456 workshop manual at ferraridatabase.com, but it has little on the alarm system. The 456M WSM shows the alarm system and the expanded wiring section shows this, which I all I can find.

If memory serves it is under a cover plate under the carpeting on the bulkhead behind the right seat.
They are intentionally hard to access.

I take that back. Look under the right rear arm rest.

I spoke to the guy i bought this off and was told it was behind the rear passenger seat bolted on with rivets, need to remove them and there will be Immobiliser and Interface together.

Did not have time to check this weekend.
