Tinting my 550 ..suggestions?

I am tinting my 550 next week and have some questions about the tint % and material. Has anyone used the Nano Hybrid Carbon? I am looking for heat reduction (saving the dashboard) as well as U.V. protection to help things from fading. I live in the Peoples Republic of Maryland and the tint law is 35% but the shop offers 18% as well. I am considering having the back and side windows tinted 18% and the driver/passenger and windshield done in 35%. Or I can just do 18% all the way around and take my chances. I would also love to see pics of cars with 35% and 18% tint for comparison.
What say ye gentlemen?

Hi Bob,
my old 550 had problem on dash board leather, the leather was retired cause sun, the car was in this condition when i bought, I had dismantled dash board for restoration .... more 550 have dash board leather retired ....
When i bought my actual 575 i had considered the U.V. protection for the windows, there are different grades, as you said, but i have given up because for me the car would be not in line with the original equipment.
I have make only a treatment for the external body, that Make easy wash and the dirt will stick less, following link:
Extreme-plus
For the other side i think those protections can reduce the internal temperature in strong way, with vantage for the leather, and for the confort, for me the only controindication is the aesthetics nature ....
I had considered the 3m solutions ....

I personally wouldn't do a dark tint like 18% on a blue 550. I have 20% on my Abarth, and I can hardly see out of the windows at night. I literally have to roll down my window to back out of the driveway.

On my DD BMW, I have 35%. Better, but still pretty dark.

I'd suggest 50% on a 550. I'm just not a fan of blacked out windows on Ferraris, much less so on blue ones.

Winners Window Tint in Rockville is really great. They do a lot of work for Competizione and put a .062" protective film on my 328 driving lights. They do Clear Bra as well.

I have to agree with Luke. 35% is the legal limit too. You already drive a car that gets unwanted attention... why help out the local LEOs. I have a guy that'll come to your location is you're interested. He's very good and nobody I've seen can beat his pricing. He's tinted both my Jag and BMW.

Current: 85' GTS QV
It's a simple process...... it's just complicated by human beings....

Great. Bring your sister and I'll have the TR there for her to see.

She is coming to the Annapolis shelter gig. I told her that you may bring the TR and she is stoked.

Was that before, or after she beat you Ed? Sounds more like it was a warning specific to your behavior - LOL
