We are happy to announce that Ferrari Market Letter is a Bronze Tier sponsor for the 2014 Ferrari Club of America International Meet.

Not sure exactly how many but this is no less than their 4th consecutive year as a sponsor.

I am helping on the sponsorship side but not part of the organizing group this time. Best to get with Linda Blackwood and Doug Teague to help.

According to the provisional calendar Montreal is the weekend before the 51st International Meet.

Of course everything is still provisional and subject to change according to Bernie's dealmaking. Who knows maybe NY/NJ will come back onto the schedule and push some things around. Korea and Mexico both have the * by them.

This is true but at least there is some hope and maybe I will manage to enjoy them both.

The charity partner for the 2014 Ferrari Club of America International Meet is Fisher House Foundation. Founded in 1990, Fisher House program is a unique private-public partnership that supports America’s military in their time of need. The program recognizes the special sacrifices of our men and women in uniform, as well as the hardships of military service, by meeting a humanitarian need beyond that normally provided by both the Departments of Defense and Veterans Affairs.

For members of our Armed Forces, retirees, veterans and their families, the Fisher House program offers shelter and support during a medical crisis. Located on the grounds of every major military medical center, and many VA medical centers, Fisher House facilities provide a comforting “home away from home” while a loved one is receiving care in an unfamiliar environment. This special support is even more important to a family during the most stressful time — the hospitalization of a wounded, injured, or ill, service member, veteran, or family member.

Fisher House Foundation also operates the Hero Miles Program, using donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members as well as the Hotels for Heroes program using donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge. The Foundation also manages a grant program that supports other military charities and scholarship funds for military children, spouses and children of fallen and disabled veterans.

In addition to constructing new houses, Fisher House Foundation continues to support existing Fisher Houses and help individual military families in need. We are also proud to administer and sponsor Scholarships for Military Children, the Hero Miles program, and co-sponsor the Newman's Own Award.
