My wife gets on me all the time for not smiling, but since the auto accident sort of difficult getting back into it. Hit in parking lot by Z-3 and lost left leg. The lift is a Direct lift. Will include today per request the GTS Viper and the Cobra 4000CSX 427 side oiler. I am including the picture of my new daughter in law, Danica in the Cobra. Must show my retoration project one of these days-- The most beautiful 65 356C which is currently being finished in Fl. My wish is to one day drive these again as they with the exception of the Ferrari stick shift.

Wow that is not an easy situation.

You could have the Ferrari converted to an F1 but that would be a bit costly. (sorry did not see that it's an F1. DAH!)

Are you pleased with the Direct Lift? I am leary of Chinese made lifts. What's your experience been with this one?

I did not want an expensive lift while we still reside in Co. as I will purchase another at that time. Hopefully will be returning to Fl. approx. 1 yr. and will sell this one or place it in our hanger to store occassional car. Have had no issues with this lift since purchased except alignment bolts which when installed incorrectly failed. Warrantly obviously covered it along with the service to install and it has been perfect ever since. It's more than adequate esp if used with 240. They do have a creditable warranty when compared to others on the market.
The Ferrari is the only one I can currently drive as it is F1. It is equipped with Challenge front and rear, Tubi exhaust, spare tire option,F1, Red calibers.

That is good info.

I spoke with them a few months ago but felt a bit uneasy. Had no referrals to an owner so your input is good.

You said hangar which means airplane. What have you?

I have a Piper Dakota. Currently putting in hand controls as added security for my new disablity. Hopefully plane will be ready next week as just completed it's annual. FAA to inspect controls today . Will need to get started on securing a SODA from the FAA, new biannual etc. I am also an AME. Enjoy talking with pilots and keeping them flying.

Nice A/P.

I have considerable time in a ton of Beech products but mostly A36. Also M/E rated tgru the 310 which I like best.

Always felt a 310/340 should be type ratings.

My Ferrari seems to be taking all the $ lately. Hope to get back to flying regularly later this summer.

You have some great toys I love the Cobra and the Viper.
It's good to see that you are not letting your accident get in the way and are still finding ways to use your toys.

welcome doc.

A few persons have fitted their cars with hand controls including an acquaintance of mine who builds/restores cars [his case is par, no feelings below]. Will have to ask him if ok to post some of his VERY fine work.

Guessing the flying part is much easier than driving.
