some more pics of the 308

Took some more pics of the 308 today, I've also managed to get some space in my garage as the MG finally went the other day, sold it to a chap from the Netherlands.

Hey Stile, if you visited more often, you would have known I had bought another Ferrari. This one isn't a garage queen like the 328 was, it will be driven regularly.

Sorry mate, it's been a hard life here on the south, spent 18 days off shore, came back to the civilization on Sunday, today and tomorrow at the office and on Wednesday back to the ocean

I hardly have time to watch F1, imagine to find internet and visit the forum =\

Still, stunning car, congrats once again!

Dont you have some kind of state of the art satellite communication system on the ship so that you can get superfast internet in the middle of the Atlantic?

we do, actually, the "problem" is that we are there to work, not to surf on the net hehehehe

imagine how cranky your boss would be if the rent of your office costed over 200k US$ PER DAY!

it is non-stop motion, man, got to keep the rig working!

Yes David, I am very lucky. I don't think I appreciated that when I had the old 328, but when it was gone, I really missed it and wished I'd used it and appreciated it more. The last 13 months or so were tough w/o a Ferrari, but I never gave up on my dream. I've had the 308 for just over 2 weeks, and I still keep going into my garage on work days, just to take a peek and admire her beauty. Weekends are very different now, my son and I take her out for a good drive every Saturday and Sunday

Archie nice looking 308. Good color combo. Had fly yellow GTB from 77 till approx. 83. Was a great fun car with nice lines and totally trouble free. Enjoy it. Are there a lot of good roads in England to open her up?

Doc, we are very fortunate in England and The UK as a whole, that we have many great driving roads, sadly the weather is what lets us down. However, the country roads are great for driving a V8, where out and out top speed isnt important, but acceleration between corners, and handling around them is the name of the day. Sure if you want outright top speed, we have a good network of motorways, and if you don't mind the risk of being caught by the police, you can easily take your Ferrari to it's max.

For me though, it is the country driving that makes me smile. I did approx 100 miles today, and don't think I got above 70 mph more than a couple of times. The acceleration between road junctions and bends and the cornering speed were what made it fun for me. Shame it's Monday tomorrow, I've got to get back into my daily driver until next weekend now.

That's what I've got. I seem to find enough time to watch F1, surf the internet and visit the forum from the middle of the South China Sea. Of course that's one of the benefits of being the "Person in Charge", I have people like Stile to do the actual work-like stuff.

Car's looking great Arch! I did get to drive mine a little bit last week.

Pleased to hear it's not under embargo at the house you are paying for but aren't allowed to go to
