Red is a factory Ferrari signature.

You should only have a red remote if it came from Ferrari.

Any other programming should be on black only to avoid confusion.

Please let me know when you are ready to program the remotes.

Have a great weekend,

I will. A bit delayed due to a very busy schedule.

But things should improve soon.

I have designed a transmission cooler for the 355, 360, and 430's.

See: http://www.dynamtechgroup.com/ferrari-tranny-cooler.php

Any one who owns any of this series is nuts not to have my cooler!

It's all designed and done and ready for distribution about mid-Sept so thank you for the advice of your S.I.L.

It took a while to do, however.

Hi,

I have been shopping around for a 360 for almost a year. I finally purchased a 02 360 spider F1. I saw at least 20 around the US and Canada. I also noticed that most keys are scuffed. The dealer will be replacing one of the two keys.

Is that normal for these type of keys?
Are the key head paintable?

Thanks

There are Euro remotes available here in US. I have to find the site that makes them available.

I did post it once before but can't find my own listing!

I will again be cloning remotes after Feb.

So who sells the euro model black fob remotes? Should I not buy this euro model 360 modena since it only has 1 key and black fob remote? How much will I need to spend and is it even possible to do this without having to go directly to the dealer?

I stated that I have to find the seller's link and when I do I will advise.

The remote is about $100.00.

A dealer cannot clone program a remote.

The purchase decision on the car is yours but not one I would think you would make solely on the basis of a remote.

Ok, please let me know if you find the link for the euro model remote. How much would you charge to clone it? Also, are you in the US?

Thanks.

It will be nice to see this coming together! I have one such problem child in the shop right now but the budget doesnt allow for a proper repair... thats a shame and a Penny Wise decission.

Also have a key fob project for you when your schedule permits. Best for me while it lays dormant in the shop if that happens to work for you.

Yes on both.

I have something taking up quite a bit of my time now but after Feb I will be ok.

Only one key

When I bought my 550 it came with only one key. Entry-start sequence to car is:
1) Press button on fob - car unlocks
2) Key in to ignition & turn
3) Press fob button again, turn key fully - car starts

Having one key isn't a problem unless I loose it. Then its a massive problem. So I've decided to do something about it.

Do I need a red key ( like on my 430 ) as a master?

Anyone else UK based had similar problem? Location and cost of fix?

Or is the best option to send to Gcalo in Cali ( if indeed he does overseas / EU cars )

All advice appreciated. Key/ fob photo attached

Thanks
