They better
If Raikkonen wins again, then we will have a small problem of winning the championship
Hopefully Rubens can win

I am going to my sister-in-law's house right now to go watch the race. We are taking both the Ferrari and Mercedes over. The outcome of the race will determine who follows who on the way back!!!!

Not too early Dirk, the race started at 8:00 local time. We stopped at McDonalds on the way and brought breakfast over to my Sister-in-law and her husband. He is a mechanic for a NASCAR team so he knows all about racing.

And even though Shumacher's mother past away he still managed to pull the Ferrari into a first place win!!!! Rubens did a great job also coming in 3rd. A great race and a great day for Ferrari!

So Marni had to look at my taillights on the way home! The weather was beautiful here today so I took the top off also, just to rub it in. I joked with her and asked her how she likes her new Mercedes, she should be happy, it is the second best car in Formula 1. Which car won the race today? Go ahead, say it.... :green: :green:

Bart
wake up man
Ferrari was 1 & 3
Ralph was 4

And Pete
perhaps you'd better don't tell this to your brother in law
but in Europe Nascar isn't really appreciated
we preffer tracks instead of ovals, and with nascar there isn't a lot of sofisticated (sp?) technogoly, it's bassically a car with a really big engine.

Dirk,
I won't tell him! But just so you know, I share the European's dislike of NASCAR. I mean, come on, all it is is just one big left hand turn. Formula 1 is a bit more "refined".

But I work with a lot of people from the Southern States (Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama) and the Sunday afternoon Holy Trinity is Country Music Television, Wrestling ("Wrass'Lin") and NASCAR. I mean, we had to fly the flag at half-mast when Dale Earnhart died. If you can imagine Bubba, in his overalls, spittin' out his tobacco juice and saying "Gawd Damn! That just ain't right!" Those are the people I work with. So I have had to learn to deal with NASCAR.

P.S. - "sophisticated" English is not an easy language to spell. The words aren't always spelled the way they sound. I really enjoyed the post about languange.

the term Redneck comes to mind, or is that to insulting?

and well Pete, if you find english hard, then don't try dutch, we have exceptions on exception on exceptions on exceptions (no i'm not joking)
Besides officially english is my 4th language, but i'm better at it then french and german

Nope,

More about the fact the Belgian win at almost everything: Beer, racing drivers, racing tracks, gasoline prices, Ferrari prices, horeca (which is an abbriviation of Hotel/Recreation/Cafe for the úndutchables') and so on.

Okay, only at soccer the Dutch seem to win of you but that is about all.

Dirk, please tell me how I can get those quotes representable. I doesn't seem to work when I try.

The "Undutchables". I really like that!!!!!!!!!!!

And Dirk, Redneck it is. That is not too insulting, that is how they refer to themselves. Being a "Redneck" is kind of a badge of honor for some of these people.
