Let the wife drive the Ferrari.........Alone!!!!

So I am washing the truck and I finish that and I pull the Mercedes out to give it a bath. It is a nice day. My wife comes out with this recipe card and says "This is what we are having tonight." I say, "Oh, that looks fine." She says, "I need to run to the store to get the steak." I say, "I'll be done with the Mercedes in a minute and you can be on your way."

"No, I would like to take the Ferrari."

I am stunned.

Ummmmm.........OK................Be real careful................let it warm up..............watch the gears.............maybe I should just go to the store for you.

She made it there and back ok (maybe 1/2 mile round trip) but man I was sweating it the whole time!!!!

hahahahha thats funny man. I dont think I could ever let my future wife drive my future Ferrari.

I do know how you feel though. I remember the first time my boss let me drive his 530 awhp eclipse. He had a few bears in him. Thats mainly why i think that he let me drive it. But you sounded like you were sober, I cant believe you let her do it man.

reason i drove my boss's 530awhp eclipse = the power of bud light
reason your wife drove your ferrari = ultimate power of love.

Pete
you did good letting your wife take the Ferrari, else she probably would have been pretty mad.

PS is there a special reason why you don't trust here to drive the 308?
I mean has she done a lot of accidents?

Dirk,
No there is no reason why I shouldn't let her drive the Ferrari other than the fact that it is MY car. She is an excellent driver and has never been in an accident and has no moving violations. Let me repeat that reason again - "IT IS MY CAR!!!"

Who changes the oil? ME. Who fixes the ignition? ME. Who washes it and polishes it? ME. Who thinks that it is more than just "a car"? ME. Would you let a stranger hold your baby? Excuse me? You want to drive my what?!?
:green: :green:

"Alright, you can drive it. But only because you are married to me. And be careful! call me if you have any problems. I'll be waiting at the end of the driveway."

I actually bought my Ferrari before I got married. It is a good thing I did too, I could never afford to buy one now.

You know what they say about women...........They are in control of half of the money and all of the sex.

hehe..my wife never drove my 360. But she only has recently her driving license so it could be tricky. I always wanted to put the blue "L" (for learning) on the car but the magnetic shield does not stick on the aluminium body. Damn.

Imagine...learning to drive in a Ferrari... :P

But no problem for me to let her drive the car...

There is at least a 360 with double pedals in Germany and a 328 GTS in the Netherlands used as driving school car!

I am pretty sure that you will not see any Ferrari's in the USA with student driver plates on them. However, it is fairly common for driving schools to use Camaros, Corvettes, and even Porsches in an effort to attract students.

I can't imagine what the insurance would be on a Ferrari registered to a driving school.
