1970 Le Mans

Does anyone have good photos of the 512S's that took part in the 1970 Le Mans race.
I am trying to build all the 512S longtails but am having difficulty with the sponsors decals and rear detail.
Has anyone got models they can take photos of ?
I need details of the Magnetti Marelli decals on the side and the decal on the rear wing next to GIRLING on cars #5,6,7+8 so that I can make them myself.

Guess there aren't many model makers/collectors out there then.
I've found the info now and printed the decals - look good even if I say so myself.
Might even post a piccy when the models are done.

Marlin, I'd love to see some pics of the models when you've done, or any others that you've made.
Do you make them from kits or do you make them from scratch yourself?

Archie, how are you doing?
Model collection is varied between pre-builts, kits, and modified where I can't find an example.
Currently trying to make all the 512 S longtails that were at the 1970 Le Mans based on modifying the available #12 car and the 1978 512 BB IMSA based on a Solido shell.
I'll get some photos posted.

1/43 scale, as are most of my models.
I tried 1/18 but ran out of room

that's cool!

I have some 1:18 miniatures but I bought them when I was younger (about 10 years old), when I go back to my parents' I'll take some pictures, my small collection is there

Nearly there.
Forgot to print out the Firestone decals for the front - quite pleased with the results as its the first time making decals.

They look great, you must be very patient and have very steady hands.

Thanks for your comments guys.
I'm having a slight problem with colours running but overall I'm happy.
Here's the second one as well. Both need a couple of decals to finish them off. Only five more to go and I've got all eight long-tails.
The hands aren't as steady as they used to be Archie and the eyes are getting tired - old age doesn't come easy

I've never had a small kit miniature, maybe next year I'll try it!

Once the long-tails are all done the next project is the 1978 IMSA 512 BB #22715.

The pics are of the Tron version - I'm going to use a modified Solido body.

Can anyone tell me what the decals on the light covers and the one above Cibie might be ?
