Buying at Auction


I am new to FerrariLife and am "in the hunt" for a starter Ferrari: a 308 or 328most likely (although my favorite is the Testarosa). I would be interested in advice from those who have purchased at auction since it isn't possible to drive the car or have a ppi.

What do you look for (and look out for) to minimize buyer risk? Are there items on these cars to be especially concerned about?

Welcome Jim,
I can't offer you any advice about US auction's, but 308/328's are great starter Ferrari's. I bought mine 2 yrs ago and have never regretted it.
Stick around on the forum, ask questions and read the posts and you will pick up invaluable information from the guys on here.
