308 Pump Housing

82 308, Do you have to take off the AC unit to get the water pump housing off?

Water Pump

The answer is no, you do not have to remove the A/C compressor. You might have to remove the rear cam belt cover to get access to two bolts, but that's about it. A water pump is actually easy to do on a 308 Ferrari! Just not cheap. -Steve

thanks for the reply,The bolts of the AC pump go thru the belt cover....

The A/C compressor attaches through the front cam belt cover. I was referring to the rear cover - the one near the rear of the car. -Steve
